Local Involvement Networks
The role of the NHS Centre for Involvement
The Department of Health asked the NHS Centre for Involvement (NCI) to be the lead organisation for supplying advice and guidance about LINks. This enabled members of the NCI consortium to all be actively involved. There are three strands of work taking place:
- practical advice, guidance and support;
- voluntary and community sector fieldwork; and
- LINks exchange online network (www.lx.nhs.uk/).
To get a better overall perspective of the work that the NCI has done in relation to LINks implementation, please have a look at the document we've prepared with some of our project plans: Local Involvement Networks: Explaining the role of the NHS Centre for Involvement.
